The Muslimah Affairs Division, Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs in collaboration with the Tutong District Mosque Affairs Office and the Kampung Bang Dalam Mosque Takmir Committee, Tutong District also organised a programme to celebrate the Hijrah New Year Celebration. The programme was held on 22nd June morning at the said mosque.

The programme included a talk on the history of the Hijrah of the Prophet Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam and explained the meaning and internalisation of hijrah in today's life. Present were members of the Mosque Takmir Committee and Muslimah from throughout the district.
